About Sawar Yoga
Carrying the sacred blessings of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath and Swami Nikhileshwarananda to share genuine classical yoga and spiritual consciousness with the world.
Origin & Purpose of Sawar Yoga
Sawar Meditation and Yoga Center is an authorized sanctuary established on November 18, 2011 (BS 2068) in Kathmandu, Nepal. The center was founded to fulfill the true spiritual purpose of human existence by imparting the profound, tested wisdom of authentic meditation, traditional Hatha Yoga, and Himalayan sound therapy.
By engaging in genuine sadhana at Sawar Yoga, practitioners obtain the clarity, self-power, and natural harmony that cultivate lasting mental peace, physical health, and spiritual realization.
Our Yogic Philosophy
We view Yoga not as a commercial workout or athletic performance, but as a holistic science of conscious living. Classical Hatha Yoga purifies the physical vessel and balances the nadis (subtle energy currents), creating the necessary stability for meditation (Dhyana) and higher self-realization.
Through breath awareness, alignment, energetic locks (Bandhas), Mudras, sacred sound vibration (Nada), and mantra contemplation, yoga becomes an ongoing practice of mindfulness that transforms daily thoughts, actions, and inner peace.
